I rode down to Gulf Shores Public Beach this morning. It was a downright beautiful day! I mean, you just couldn’t ask for anything better. That mountain of sand behind my bike is from them repairing the beach from Hurricane Ike. Actually, the place my bike is sitting probably had water on it.
Had two tourists (almost wrote terrorist! LMAO!!) stop me and ask me what they were doing. I guess they thought the beach is supposed to be covering the bottom 5 stairs of the boardwalk leading down to the beach. Any way, just wanted to show you guys some pics of my morning.

I have to say, it was a great card I sent today. My grandmother lives in Utah, I live in Alabama. I left Utah in 1993. I have been back I think…..3 times. Plus she had visited us here about 5 years ago. Anyway, you get the picture, people fall out of touch. The card I sent just had a little note about grandma being in my thoughts. I filled out the other side.
As I wrote this card to my grandmother, I had tears streaming down my face. I think it was a touch of guilt knowing I had let my relationship with my grandmother slip away. I told her thanks for everything, and that her and my grandfather, who passed away last year, had given me some very good memories. It was a very emotional experience for me.
I was thinking today that this would have never happened had Send Out Cards not been in my life. With ONE card, TWO lives will be touched. I can’t think of any other network marketing company that has a product that can affect two lives with one little card.

If you know anything about the Law of Attraction, you know that Abraham says that what you send out, you get back. It’s such a simple, yet powerful concept.
I had several doubts about the whole LOA thing, seemed like a whole bunch of hog wash. I mean there are some folks out there that live this as if their lives depend on it. It kind of freaked me out! Seeing people that had major issues in their life, and would just say…..I’ll put it out to the universe that such and such is going to come into my life. And let it live at that! I was flabbergasted.
Well, last year I had an A ha moment. My wife and I had been taking our family to Gulf Shores, AL for vacation for about 10 years. When we had to leave, we were really bummed out. We’ve just always loved it there. So, last year while at the beach, I took some sand and put it into a couple empty water bottles we had. They went back to West Virginia with us, and I would look at them, touch them, and sometimes even poor the sand out in my hands and rub it, all the while thinking of moving to the beach.
Wouldn’t you know it, that in about 9 months…we live about 10 miles due east of the place where I picked that sand up! That’s not 10 miles inland, that’s 10 miles EAST. We live about 1/2 mile from the Gulf of Mexico on the beautiful Alabama coast.
So, needless to say, I’m a believer in the LOA.
